The Culture & Sports Corps is a community for people who want to help create experiences, life, unity and good times in Bjerringbro Sports & Culture Center. As a volunteer, you become an important part of a strong community where we help each other, lift as a group and contribute with what we each do best. With us, there is room for all ages, different skills and different amounts of time. The most important thing is not experience – but the desire to be part of the community.

The information meeting is completely non-binding, and registration only applies to the meeting itself. This does not mean that you automatically sign up as a volunteer.
After the meeting, there will be an opportunity to volunteer if you wish - and of course you are always welcome to contact us later if you wish to become part of the corps.

WE HAVE MANY DIFFERENT TASKS AND THEREFORE EVERYONE CAN TAKE PART
A large center requires ongoing maintenance, and therefore we are looking for volunteers who want to help with various renovation and maintenance tasks in and around Bjerringbro Sports & Cultural Center.
The tasks can be very different and are of course adapted to what you want and are able to help with. For example, they could be:
• Hedge trimming and maintenance of green areas
• Weeding around our cabins and outdoor areas
• Painting tasks and light renovation work
• Practical tasks at events and projects as well as taking care of the outdoor area at the sauna & spa
We are a center with many activities, buildings and outdoor areas, and therefore there is always something that needs to be kept beautiful and inviting.
At the same time, we are actively working to seek funding for new projects and improvements to the center. Once the funds are in place, we will also need volunteer hands to help bring the projects to life.
The most important thing is not experience – but the desire to be part of the community and make a difference together with others.

Every year, Bjerringbro Sports & Cultural Center hosts many events and larger gatherings, and we are therefore also looking for volunteers who want to help when the building is buzzing with life.
Fortunately, we are experiencing more and more inquiries at larger events, and it takes many hands to create good experiences for our guests.
Therefore, we are looking for volunteers who would like to help with, among other things:
• Bartenders and catering at events
• Serving and preparing food in the kitchen
• Practical tasks before, during and after events
• Help with larger parties and memorial gatherings
• Setting up, cleaning and preparing premises
Some events are planned well in advance, while others – such as memorial services – often come at short notice. That’s why it’s important to us to have a strong volunteer corps willing to lend a hand when the need arises.
The most important thing is not experience, but the desire to be part of the community and help create good experiences for others.
As a volunteer, you become part of a social community where we lift together and help each other across tasks.

Fortunately, we are really busy with events, parties and celebrations at Bjerringbro Sports & Cultural Center, and this also means that we often have to get ready for the next event with little time in between.
Therefore, we are looking for volunteers who would like to help with the many practical tasks involved in preparing our premises.
This may include:
• Table setting for parties and events
• Fold napkins and prepare table settings
• Reorganization of premises after events
• Decorate and create a cozy atmosphere
• Help with spreading sandwiches for larger gatherings and memorial gatherings
Some days it's about getting ready for big parties, other days it's about helping out at events where many people need to be served in a short time. That's why extra hands mean a lot to us.
As a volunteer, you become part of a cozy community where we help each other and complete tasks together - always in a good atmosphere.

THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A VOLUNTEER CORPS
The Culture & Sports Corps was created with the desire to strengthen the community around Bjerringbro Sports & Culture Center and contribute to an active, vibrant and welcoming center for all ages.
The corps will help create good experiences for the center's guests, users and visitors through voluntary involvement in cultural, social and sporting events. At the same time, we want to build a strong social community among the volunteers, where they meet for common tasks, help each other and become part of a meaningful community.
Through the Culture & Sports Corps, we want to bring together people who want to make a difference – both for the center, the events and for the community around Bjerringbro Sports & Culture Center. The Sports & Culture Corps will become the center's ambassadors in Bjerringbro and the surrounding area.
