The mini adventure begins with arrival in Bjerringbro, where you are welcomed into our cozy cabins amidst beautiful natural surroundings. Here you have time to land, unpack and settle into a quiet setting where comfort and presence are in focus.
After accommodation you can enjoy free access to the swimming pool, where both children and adults can relax and have fun in the water. It is the perfect start to your stay – whether you are looking for play, exercise or pure relaxation. It is possible to purchase other activities such as sauna & spa incl. saunagus, paddle, badminton etc.
The day ends with a quiet evening and overnight stay in your own cabin, where you can recharge for new experiences in nature the next day.

The day starts calmly with breakfast in the cabin, where you can enjoy the surroundings and recharge for the day's experiences in nature. After that, you set off on a beautiful hike of approx. 5 km. along the iconic towpath that follows the calm waters of the Gudenåen towards the Energy Museum.
The route is both child-friendly and easily accessible, making it ideal for the whole family. Along the way, you can enjoy the peaceful nature, green surroundings and rich wildlife that the area is known for.
Upon arrival at the Energy Museum, an exciting experience awaits you with knowledge, activities and the opportunity to explore the world of energy. There is also the opportunity to enjoy lunch in a cozy setting before the tour continues.
After the visit, the pace changes when you jump into a canoe that we will provide you with the necessary equipment and let yourself be guided quietly back towards Bjerringbro. The calm sailing with the current gives you time for presence, smiles and a very special nature experience from the water. You sail in a canoe to the canoeing site at Outdoor Bjerringbro where you can enjoy an ice cream from the kingfisher and simply enjoy the view from the site. From here it is 1 km from the canoe site back to the cabins along beautiful paths.
The mini adventure is rounded off with a quiet morning where you can enjoy breakfast in your own surroundings and let the experiences from the previous days sink in. The atmosphere is relaxed, and there is time to enjoy the last moments in the scenic surroundings around Bjerringbro.
Before departure, there is the opportunity for a final trip to the swimming pool, where both children and adults can have a pleasant and active end to their stay.
After that, the trip home – with new energy, good memories and the feeling of having been on a little adventure along the Gudenå River.

On day 2, you start by walking from the cabins down to the Outdoor Bjerringbro canoe site, where the towpath begins. The walk is just under 1 km and can be walked via small, nice paths the whole way – but also along the main road if you wish. The map shows a route via the small paths along Møllebækken.

From the canoe site in Bjerringbro you hike approx. 5 km along the beautiful towpath. The route is signposted all the way. You can see the route on the map or click on the image to open an interactive map that you can easily follow.

Once you have experienced the Energy Museum, we have made sure that there are canoes and equipment ready for you by the river by the museum. From the canoe you can experience the Gudenåen from a completely different angle, which makes the adventure complete. When booking online, 30% of the price of the stay is paid, corresponding to the 1st installment. The remaining amount is paid directly to Bjerringbro Idræts- & Kulturcenter at the latest upon check-out.
Payment is made by credit card via DIBS (Danish Internet Payment System) / Nets Easy.
If payment is not made, the booking will be automatically cancelled.
Once the payment has been completed and approved, the reservation is guaranteed. A confirmation of the reservation will then be sent by email.
Any wishes or requirements for the reservation will of course be met, but cannot be guaranteed.

Once the reservation has been made, the final confirmation will be sent. After this, the first installment, which is 30% of the price of the stay, must be paid.
For reservations made directly with Bjerringbro Idræts- & Kulturcenter, we will be able to offer a change of date or room type to the greatest extent possible. The paid installment amount can be 'transferred' to a later period, but must be agreed in writing with Bjerringbro Idræts- & Kulturcenter.
