During both the winter and autumn holidays, we usually open the doors to our popular and completely free children's days at Bjerringbro Sports & Culture Center. The house is filled with happy children, curious families and lots of fun activities.
Every children's day offers new experiences - it can be creative workshops, games, competitions, little surprises and lots of laughter along the way. The goal is simple: to create a cozy day where children can play, explore and have fun together.

When we hold children's day at Bjerringbro Sports & Culture Center, the house is filled with creativity, laughter and lots of fun. One of the popular features is our creative workshop, where children can let their imaginations run wild with paper, colors, feathers, glitter and glue.
At the long tables, children, parents and grandparents gather to work on small creative projects. They cut, glue and decorate, while imaginative figures and colorful decorations take shape. There is room for both the little artists and the slightly older children who want to immerse themselves in creative activities.
Children's days are an obvious opportunity to have a nice day together as a family. Many children love to sit concentrated with scissors and glue, while others quickly find new ideas for figures and decorations. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and it is clear that both children and adults enjoy creating something together.

For our children's days, there are not only creative activities and games in the halls, we also arrange a fun treasure hunt around the many halls and areas of Bjerringbro Sports & Cultural Center. Here, the children go exploring and solve small tasks or find clues that lead them to the next post.
The treasure hunt is always a hit, and the children eagerly go around the house to find all the items. When the tasks are solved and the route is completed, a well-deserved reward awaits.
At the end of the treasure hunt, the children can stop by the café, where they will be rewarded with a delicious slush ice as a reward for their efforts. It provides both a little refreshment and an extra smile on their face after a day full of activities.
The treasure hunt is just one of the many experiences that help make our children's days a pleasant day for the whole family, where there is room for play, movement and togetherness.
Halloween theme
When the autumn holidays arrive, we at Bjerringbro Sports & Culture Center invite you to a cozy children's day with a Halloween theme. Here, the house is filled with happy children, creative activities and lots of autumn atmosphere.
One of the most popular activities is pumpkin carving, where children can hollow out and decorate their own pumpkins. With a little imagination, they can quickly be transformed into fun or spooky jack-o-lanterns. Children and families sit together around tables and work intently with knives, spoons and templates, while laughter and good ideas are shared.
In addition to the creative activities, there is also the opportunity to take a break and enjoy something delicious. For the Halloween Children's Day, small Halloween-inspired muffins will be served, which fit perfectly with the day's theme.

In the pictures here you can see some of the activities we have had on previous children's days. The children could, among other things, try face painting, where they were transformed into imaginative characters, participate in creative workshops and explore various play and movement activities in the halls. Around the house there was also space for coziness, music and small breaks in the café area.
One of the things that makes the children's days special is the variety. Every time we try to come up with new activities, themes and experiences, so there is always something exciting to try for both new and returning guests. Sometimes the focus is on creativity, other times on play and movement – and often a good mix of all of them.
Common to all children's days is the cozy atmosphere and the opportunity to meet for a day of fellowship, play, and good laughs.
